With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of Terence Roberson, who departed this life far too soon on April 27, 2025, at the age of 36. A beloved son, cherished friend, and radiant soul, Terence was a man whose kindness, laughter, and unwavering love for others left an indelible mark on all who had the honor of knowing him.
Born and raised in the close-knit community of Farmville, North Carolina, Terence grew up surrounded by family, faith, and friendship. His upbringing instilled in him a deep sense of loyalty, compassion, and a joyful spirit that lit up every room he entered. Whether on the quiet streets of Farmville or among the pews of his beloved Salvation & Praise Full Gospel Church, Terence was known as someone you could count on for a listening ear, a word of encouragement, or a good-hearted laugh that could ease any burden.
A man of remarkable warmth and humor, Terence had a way of making everyone feel seen and valued. He was the kind of person who showed up—whether it was to support a friend, lend a helping hand, or lift someone’s spirits when they were down. His sense of community was strong, rooted in his faith and his love for his hometown. To many, Terence was more than a friend; he was family.
Throughout his life, Terence cultivated a deep love for music, ministry, and meaningful conversation. He had a natural gift for connecting with people, and his presence was both comforting and inspiring. He was a man of character and conviction, guided by a quiet strength that left a lasting impression. He lived with purpose, pouring his heart into every relationship, every laugh, every prayer, and every act of kindness.
Though his time with us was far too brief, Terence’s legacy lives on in the memories we hold, the stories we share, and the love we continue to feel in his absence. His light, though no longer here, continues to shine through the lives he touched.
A visitation in memory of Terence will be held on May 10th, followed by a celebration of life at Salvation & Praise Full Gospel Church, where his spirit was so often uplifted and where his faith in God was nurtured. Family, friends, and community members are invited to come together to honor Terence’s life, share memories, and find comfort in one another.
As we mourn his loss, we also celebrate his life—a life filled with laughter, compassion, faith, and an abundance of love. Terence Roberson may be gone from our sight, but he will never be gone from our hearts.
Rest in peace, Terence. Your journey here may have ended, but your light will forever remain.
