The Incident

According to LVMPD, officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of gunfire inside the gym. Upon arrival, they encountered a male suspect armed with a rifle who had already fired multiple rounds within the facility. The suspect was confronted and subsequently neutralized by responding officers. He was taken into custody and transported to University Medical Center for treatment.
