In Loving Memory of Wor. Bro. John Crozier, Past District Master – A Life of Loyal Service and Unwavering Faith

The Officers and Brethren of the County Grand Lodge extend their deepest sorrow and heartfelt condolences following the passing of Worshipful Brother John Crozier, Past District Master of Lurgan District LOL No. 6.

Wor. Bro. Crozier was not only a devoted Orangeman but a steadfast servant of the Loyal Order, whose unwavering commitment to the principles and traditions of Orangeism touched countless lives throughout Lurgan District and beyond. His passing leaves a great void in the hearts of those who served alongside him, learned from him, and were uplifted by his resolute character.

A Legacy of Leadership and Dedication

Brother Crozier’s long-standing role as Past District Master stands as a testament to his leadership, integrity, and deep sense of duty. His service extended over many years, during which he was instrumental in guiding the Lodge through both challenges and celebrations. His influence and insight were highly valued at all levels, particularly within the County Grand Committee, where he was a respected voice of experience and wisdom.

Those privileged to work with him often spoke of his calm demeanor, thoughtful counsel, and unshakable commitment to the principles of the Orange Institution — faith, loyalty, and community service. Whether leading a District meeting, organizing commemorative parades, or mentoring younger brethren, John Crozier gave of himself with generosity and grace.

A Pillar of the Lurgan Community

Beyond the Lodge walls, John was a figure of kindness and respect in the wider Lurgan community. He was known for his humility, honesty, and quiet strength — always ready with a helping hand or a word of encouragement. His loss is not only mourned within our Order but felt deeply by many in the community who knew him as a gentleman and a steadfast friend.

Faithful Servant of Christ

John’s life was one anchored firmly in Christian faith, which was reflected in all he did. His walk with Christ was humble but profound, inspiring those around him to lead lives of righteousness and compassion. As the scripture tells us in Matthew 5:4, “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” We take comfort in the promise of eternal peace for those who serve the Lord with a faithful heart — as our Brother John surely did.

A Time to Remember, A Time to Mourn

At this difficult time, the County Grand Lodge conveys its sincere sympathy and prayers of comfort to John’s beloved wife and family. May they find strength in the love that surrounds them and peace in knowing that John’s legacy lives on in the lives he touched, the traditions he upheld, and the love he so freely gave.

Though he has laid down his working tools, his memory and example remain etched in the hearts of the Brethren he leaves behind. As we remember our departed Brother, we will continue to honor his legacy with the same spirit of duty, fellowship, and faith that defined his remarkable life.

Farewell, Worshipful Brother John Crozier.
A faithful servant, a true Orangeman, a man of God.
You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
