VALENCIA, TRINIDAD & TOBAGO — A routine night of liming with friends turned violent for 26-year-old Shawn Gomez, who is now fighting for his life after being stabbed multiple times during a brutal altercation outside a popular Valencia bar early Saturday morning. The incident occurred around 3:35 a.m. on June 21st at Tranquillity Bar, located along Valencia Old Road.
According to police reports, Gomez, a resident of Clarence Trace, was socializing with a group of friends when a verbal dispute erupted between him and several men outside the establishment. Within moments, what began as a heated exchange spiraled into violence, with Gomez being stabbed multiple times about the body.
