It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our cherished colleague, friend, and mentor, Brian Rivers, of Pflugerville, Texas. Brian was a beloved Studio Lead at Cella, where he brought not only an extraordinary level of talent and leadership but also an unwavering kindness that defined his every interaction. His sudden departure has left an immeasurable void in our hearts and in the lives of everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
Brian was the kind of person who made work feel like home. Whether you were new to the team or had worked with him for years, Brian had a way of making you feel seen, valued, and inspired. He led with humility, worked with unmatched dedication, and uplifted those around him with his ever-present positivity. His creative spirit, calm demeanor, and infectious laughter were a source of strength and joy for our entire team.
Outside of work, Brian was first and foremost a devoted family man. He leaves behind his loving wife, Holly, and their two beautiful daughters, Brianna and Kathryn—the true lights of his life. His love for his family was evident in every conversation, every story he shared, and every proud moment he celebrated. Brian was a father who glowed with pride and a husband whose admiration and love for Holly were deep and unwavering.
As we grieve this devastating loss, we also want to come together as a community to support the Rivers family during this incredibly difficult time. In honor of Brian’s memory and the incredible legacy he leaves behind, we have established a fundraiser to help ease the financial burden on his wife and daughters as they navigate life without him.
No contribution is too small, and every expression of support means the world. If you had the pleasure of knowing Brian, working alongside him, or even just hearing his name in conversation, you know how much he meant to so many. Let us honor him by showing the same compassion and generosity he so freely gave.
Brian’s legacy will live on in the lives he touched, the work he inspired, and the love he shared. He will be dearly missed but never forgotten.
With love, remembrance, and heartfelt gratitude,
The Cella Family & Friends of Brian Rivers
