He was the devoted husband of Donna Washington, with whom he shared a life full of partnership, resilience, and unconditional love. Together, they built a beautiful family—raising three sons: Henry Jr., Harrison, and Hamilton—each of whom carry forward his values and spirit. Henry was also a deeply adored grandfather, always present with a warm smile, a quick-witted joke, or a quiet word of encouragement.
Professionally, Henry’s life was a testament to dedication and versatility. He enjoyed a long and impressive career in the world of broadcasting as a sideline camera operator for ESPN, where he worked behind the scenes at major sporting events, capturing the excitement and emotion of countless unforgettable moments. He brought excellence, steadiness, and a passion for storytelling to the sidelines—a role he took great pride in and one that earned him the admiration of colleagues and athletes alike.
In addition to his work with ESPN, Henry was a master of his craft with over 35 years in drywalling.
