ARLINGTON, TX – A fatal shooting occurred Monday afternoon at the Salon and Spa Galleria, located at 7807 South Cooper Street, Suite #115, in what authorities are calling a murder-suicide involving a domestic relationship.
According to Arlington Police, a woman entered the salon where Todd Austin was receiving a haircut and fatally shot him before turning the weapon on herself.
Officers responded to the scene and found Austin unresponsive with a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Austin, a well-known business professional, was the owner of Credit Champs, a credit repair company. He was widely regarded as a mentor, business credit coach, and funding specialist.
The suspected shooter, identified as a woman with whom Austin shared a child, was also found at the scene suffering from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

She was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
Police say the incident appears to have stemmed from a domestic dispute.
Investigators believe the shooting was targeted and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Authorities secured the scene and urged the public to avoid the area during the investigation.
Arlington Police continue to gather information and have not released the woman’s identity pending notification of family.
