FALL RIVER, MA – July 13, 2025 – A major fire emergency has been declared at the Gabriel House Assisted Living Facility, located at 261 Oliver Street in Fall River, where a fast-moving blaze has left multiple occupants trapped and several victims with severe burn injuries, according to local emergency services and media reports.

The incident was classified as a General Alarm Fire and Mass Casualty Incident (MCI), prompting a large-scale emergency response.

Officials say all off-duty Fall River Fire Department personnel were recalled to assist with the ongoing rescue and suppression efforts.
