In a tragic incident late Thursday night, July 31, 2025, 18-year-old Christian Miller allegedly shot his 39-year-old mother multiple times with an AR-15-style pistol following a domestic altercation at the 89 East Apartments, located near 71st Street and Memorial in South Tulsa, Oklahoma. The shooting occurred around 10:30 p.m., prompting a swift response from Tulsa Police after receiving multiple 911 calls, including one from Miller himself and another from the victim confirming she had been shot by her son.

According to authorities, the altercation stemmed from Miller being upset with his mother. The victim sustained five gunshot wounds to the stomach and torso and was found by police and medics inside the apartment. She was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and underwent surgery, though her condition remains undisclosed.
