22-Year-Old Victor Lapharohs Shot and Killed in Scotlandville; Baton Rouge Police Investigating
BATON ROUGE, La. — A deadly shooting in the Scotlandville area has left 22-year-old Victor Lapharohs dead, prompting an ongoing investigation by the Baton Rouge Police Department.
The shooting occurred shortly after 3:15 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2025, near the intersection of Avenue J and Woodpecker Street, just west of Scenic Highway. Officers responded to reports of gunfire and discovered Lapharohs at the scene with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
Authorities have not released any information regarding possible suspects or motive, and no arrests have been made. The investigation remains active, with detectives seeking leads and reviewing potential evidence.
