Four people injured in shooting during class reunion picnic at Tyner Community Center in Chattanooga
A deadly shooting in downtown Milwaukee left one person dead and four others injured just after midnight on Saturday, July 12, 2025, according to the Milwaukee Police Department.
Authorities say the gunfire broke out near the intersection of Water and Michigan Streets shortly after 12:00 a.m.
Responding officers found five individuals had been shot.
One of the victims, identified as 52-year-old Antwan Hogans—known affectionately as “Tweezy”—was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hogans was a well-known and deeply respected member of the Milwaukee community.
Described by those close to him as ambitious, driven, and magnetic, he was admired for his resilience, charisma, and dedication to bettering his life and the lives of those around him.

He was a devoted father and friend, and his loss leaves a profound void in the community.
The second victim, believed to be approximately 30 years old, was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment, as were three other individuals—ages 39, 34, and 32—all suffering from non-life-threatening injuries.
The Milwaukee Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting and is actively seeking the person or persons responsible.
