With hearts heavy with sorrow, we mourn the loss of Courtney Ann Johnson, a beloved daughter, cherished friend, and radiant presence in the lives of all who knew her. Courtney passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025, at the age of 37. Though her time with us was far too short, her spirit, compassion, and joy left an indelible mark on the world and in the hearts of all who loved her.
Born and raised in Norton, Massachusetts, Courtney was known for her boundless kindness, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for those around her. She was someone who could light up a room with just a smile and had the rare ability to make everyone feel seen and valued. Whether you knew her for a moment or a lifetime, you were touched by her warmth and sincerity.
Courtney was a woman of many passions. From her deep appreciation for music and nature to her love for animals and spontaneous road trips, she lived with curiosity and purpose. Friends and family recall how she always found beauty in the simple things — a sunset over a quiet lake, the laughter of children, or a handwritten note from someone she loved.
Her heart was generous beyond measure. Courtney never hesitated to offer support, a listening ear, or a helping hand. She believed deeply in the power of kindness and lived her life in service to others, often volunteering at local shelters and community programs. Her empathy was a guiding light, reminding those around her of the importance of compassion and connection.
Courtney is lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her devoted parents, whose bond with her was a source of mutual strength and comfort. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2025, at James H. Delaney & Son Funeral Home in Norton, Massachusetts. All who knew and loved Courtney are invited to come together in remembrance — to share stories, offer comfort, and honor the life of someone so special.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Courtney’s name to a local mental health or animal welfare organization — causes close to her heart.
As we say goodbye to Courtney Ann Johnson, we hold tightly to the joy she brought into the world. Though her journey here has ended, the love she shared and the lives she touched will continue to ripple through the community she helped shape.
