It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the passing of Dylan Thomas Schwerdtfeger, who departed this life far too soon on May 5, 2025, at the young age of 23. Born and raised in the close-knit community of Clear Lake, WI, Dylan was known by many as a beacon of quiet strength, boundless generosity, and genuine kindness.
From an early age, Dylan had a remarkable spirit—curious, kind-hearted, and full of compassion for others. He was the kind of person who could light up a room with a single smile or ease a difficult day with just a few words of understanding. Whether it was helping a friend in need, sharing a laugh, or simply being present, Dylan gave of himself freely and without expectation.
A proud graduate of Clear Lake High School, Dylan was deeply rooted in the local community. He carried his small-town values wherever he went—loyalty, humility, and a strong work ethic. Friends and teachers alike remember him as someone who never hesitated to lend a hand, whether in the classroom, on the field, or around town. He had a deep appreciation for nature, loved exploring the outdoors, and found peace in the quiet beauty of Wisconsin’s lakes and woods.
To his family, Dylan was a son, brother, and grandson whose presence filled the home with warmth and laughter. He shared a special bond with each member of his family, and his love for them was steady and unconditional. His memory will live on in Sunday dinners, family stories, and the traditions that he helped shape.
To his friends, Dylan was a confidant, a ride-or-die, a brother in spirit. He was the one you could count on at 2 a.m., the one who remembered your birthday, and the one who always made sure no one felt alone. His friendships were not fleeting; they were lifelong connections made strong through trust, loyalty, and laughter.
As we gather to honor Dylan’s life, we choose to celebrate the incredible young man he was, rather than mourn what might have been. Though his time with us was brief, the impact he made will ripple through generations. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and resilience.
A visitation to remember and celebrate Dylan’s life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2025, in Clear Lake, WI. Friends, family, and members of the community are invited to come together, share stories, and offer support to one another during this difficult time.
Dylan’s absence is deeply felt, but his spirit lives on in the lives he touched. As we grieve, we also give thanks—for every smile he gave, every heart he lifted, and every moment he shared.
