With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we announce the passing of LaSandra Charles Bland, a beloved daughter, mother, sister, and friend, who departed this life on April 25, 2025, at the age of 41. LaSandra was a bright light whose spirit left an indelible mark on the hearts of everyone she met. A resident of Stone Mountain, Georgia, she was a beacon of strength, kindness, and grace in her community and among those who knew her best.
Born on January 13, 1984, LaSandra was known for her radiant smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family. She carried herself with quiet dignity, faced life’s challenges with courage, and embraced its blessings with deep gratitude. Her nurturing heart and open arms made her a source of comfort and encouragement to many, and her presence brought warmth and peace to those fortunate enough to know her.
LaSandra had a unique gift for making people feel seen, heard, and valued. She lived a life grounded in compassion and purpose—whether offering wise counsel, supporting a friend in need, or simply sharing moments of joy and laughter. Her home was always a welcoming space, filled with love, music, and the aroma of her favorite home-cooked meals.
