It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of Michael Rigsby, lovingly known by many as @@__mik3music. Michael was more than just a gifted musician — he was a faithful and consistent part of our worship team, a quiet leader behind the keys, and a cherished brother in Christ. His presence in our sanctuary was deeply felt each week, not only through the music he created but through the spirit of worship he helped usher into our hearts.

For those who experienced Sunday mornings with Michael at the piano or keyboard, you know that his playing was more than notes and chords — it was worship. It was atmosphere. It was sacred space. His music helped soften hearts, open minds, and create room for the Spirit of God to move. He had a unique and gentle gift for leading from behind the scenes, humbly offering his talent in service of something greater. He didn’t seek the spotlight; he simply wanted to be faithful.

Michael’s sudden passing has left an ache in our hearts and a silence in our worship that will not easily be filled. His absence is deeply felt—not only in the music ministry but throughout our entire church family. In every rehearsal, every prayer circle, every early Sunday morning setup, Michael was there. Reliable. Present. Joyful. His commitment spoke volumes, and his friendship meant the world to those who had the blessing of knowing him.

As a church, we have rallied around Michael’s family during this heartbreaking time—offering love, support, and prayer while they navigate unimaginable grief.
