FLORENCE, Ala. — A late-night shooting in downtown Florence on June 30, 2025, left Marcus Green, a local resident, injured and sent shockwaves through the community. The incident unfolded near the popular bar On The Rocks around 12:40 a.m., following a reported disturbance.

According to eyewitnesses, Marcus Green was shot in the leg during an altercation outside the venue. Emergency services quickly responded, and Green was transported to a local hospital, where he is expected to recover from his injuries.
