Meridian Police Arrest Man for Sexually Assaulting Two Minors at Roaring Springs Waterpark
MERIDIAN, ID — A disturbing incident at one of Idaho’s most popular family destinations has led to the arrest of a 40-year-old man following allegations of sexual assault involving two minors. The Meridian Police Department (MPD) confirmed that officers responded to Roaring Springs Waterpark, located at 400 West Overland Road, around 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2025, after receiving a report of inappropriate conduct.
According to an official MPD press release, officers arrived at the scene and began investigating claims that an adult male suspect had inappropriately touched a juvenile female while in the park’s wave pool. As officers gathered witness statements and evidence, it was determined that a second juvenile female had also been victimized in a similar manner by the same suspect.
The suspect has been identified as Bo Gene Crisp, age 40. Authorities say Crisp was taken into custody at the scene without incident and has since been booked into the Ada County Jail. He faces multiple serious charges, including Lewd Conduct with a Minor Under 16 and Sexual Battery of a Minor Child 16 or 17 Years of Age—both felonies under Idaho law.
The Meridian Police Department has emphasized the possibility that additional victims may exist, urging anyone who may have witnessed the assaults or believes they or someone they know was victimized by Crisp to come forward. MPD is actively pursuing leads and working to ensure that all potential victims receive the support they need.
“This kind of predatory behavior is absolutely unacceptable, especially in a space intended for families and children to feel safe,” said an MPD spokesperson. “Our investigators are working diligently to identify any other victims and bring justice to those affected.”
Roaring Springs Waterpark, a major attraction in Meridian, sees thousands of visitors throughout the summer season. In a statement released Friday morning, park officials expressed their deep concern and commitment to ensuring guest safety, noting that they are cooperating fully with law enforcement and reviewing their internal safety protocols.
Anyone with information regarding this case or other possible incidents involving Bo Gene Crisp is urged to contact Meridian Police at 208-888-6678.
The investigation remains ongoing. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
