MILWAUKEE, WI – In a swift and coordinated response, the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD) has confirmed the arrest of a suspect wanted in connection with the shooting of two Milwaukee police officers late Thursday night.

The arrest was made in the early morning hours of Friday, June 27, 2025, at approximately 2:15 A.M. The suspect—who has not yet been publicly identified—was taken into custody without incident.

The shooting took place in the 2200 block of North 24th Place during the evening of June 26, 2025.
