Orange, Texas — In a major development in a recent homicide investigation, the Orange Police Department (OPD) has announced the arrest of a suspect connected to the fatal shooting of Amber Nicole Parsons. The tragic incident occurred on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, when Parsons was shot while driving along Highland Street, a residential area just west of downtown Orange.
According to initial reports from OPD, officers responded to calls of a shooting in the area around 3:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered 28-year-old Amber Nicole Parsons inside her vehicle, suffering from a gunshot wound.
