Federal authorities have arrested two men in connection with a brazen early-morning ATM theft that occurred in Saginaw, Michigan, in 2024. The incident, which took place on May 12 at the United Financial Credit Union, resulted in the theft of nearly $89,000 in cash and has now led to serious federal charges for the suspects.

According to investigators, the heist was executed with a high degree of planning and took place under the cover of darkness. At approximately 3 a.m., two masked and gloved men arrived at the scene in a tan pickup truck. Security footage captured by the ATM and surrounding surveillance systems shows the suspects exiting the vehicle and approaching the ATM with crowbars in hand.

The video evidence revealed that the two men forcefully attempted to pry open the machine’s access points. After a struggle with the device, they managed to breach the ATM’s internal vaults, successfully removing approximately $88,900 in cash.
