PORT ORANGE, FL – A serious motor vehicle crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon has prompted a full-scale Traffic Homicide Investigation by the Port Orange Police Department. The incident took place on June 17, 2025, at approximately 3:04 p.m., at the intersection of northbound Nova Road and Herbert Street, involving a motorcycle and an SUV.

Upon arrival at the scene, officers found a motorcyclist suffering from critical injuries. Emergency personnel quickly administered aid before transporting the individual to Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, where they remain in critical condition.
