A commercial truck driver from British Columbia is facing serious charges in connection with a tragic collision that occurred in northern Ontario more than three months ago, resulting in the death of one individual and injuring two others.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the incident took place late on the night of January 24th, 2025, on Highway 17 in Upsala Township, a remote area located approximately 140 kilometres northwest of Thunder Bay.
