Macaulay. The New York State Police responded to reports of shots fired around 9 p.m. on Clay Hill Road. Upon arrival, troopers found the two victims gravely injured in the roadway. Both were transported to Glens Falls Hospital, where they were later pronounced dead .

    Authorities have taken a suspect into custody in connection with the shooting.
